My type of woman is different; I prefer career women, not flashy celebrities—D-Black

Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Desmond Blackmore, popularly known as D-Black, has addressed assumptions about his taste in women, clarifying that he prefers a more traditional and career-focused partner rather than the flashy celebrities he is often seen with.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, D-Black stated, “My type of woman is very different. If you see the mother of my kids, she is a doctor.

She doesn’t wear nails. I’m into a more traditional woman. People often assume I like flashy, superstar women because of who I’m seen with, but that’s not the case.”

He further elaborated on the kind of woman that appeals to him, emphasizing simplicity and professionalism.

“I’m attracted to calm, collected, and professional women, whether that’s a nurse, doctor, soldier, or police officer.

A career woman, someone who is simple, in the background, not too out there. That’s always been my type.”

The rapper also addressed rumors about his relationship with Ghanaian songstress Sefa, whom he has been closely associated with over the years. He dismissed any romantic involvement, stating, “Sefa is my sister, and I’ve never had any thoughts of having an affair with her.

The Sefa I met is not the Sefa you guys see today. I’ve known her for 7-8 years, and she has grown into who she is now. She’s a very private person, and I don’t even know anyone who has dated her.”
