Popular Ghanaian pastor and the founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has warned his followers not to seek spiritual help or prayers from other churches.
He made this known during a sermon, as he said all loyal members of his church must stay committed, or could face serious spiritual consequences if they do otherwise.
Obinim said, “I don’t want to see any Abroso branch member going to another church for prayers. If a visitor comes and leaves, that’s okay. But if a dedicated member leaves for another church, there will be a spiritual problem between us.”
The man of God added that such actions could lead to what he described as “spiritual attacks” or issues.
“If I find out, I’ll have a spiritual issue with you,” he said. “Is it marriage, money, or healing you’re going there for? You can only go elsewhere in a medical emergency.”
